One of the first steps to consider the prospect of working abroad is that you should investigate the requirements for working and living there. Getting a work permit is often mandatory and you must apply for one prior to going to this country. The work permit may be granted after you have secured a job. This is so in Europe where the employer may have to prove the governing agency that there were no locals who can do the same job that you are searching for. The bigger companies would have lots of experience with this type of requirement but those smaller companies would usually request that you perform the leg work for them.
Every country has various procedures and this would depend on their laws. For example, you must bring a typed application and resume and also copies of your diploma, translated qualifications as well as the recent photograph of yourself.
